Desktop filters - what are they

The tabletop filter has a simple design: a multi-layer filter and a special tap for the withdrawal of purified water. It also works as a water softener and affects its taste. One of the advantages of this filter is its aesthetic appearance. The capsule case is made of high quality materials and harmoniously fits into the interior of the kitchen. Such a device is installed, as a rule, for washing, some models are connected to the water supply. Using a special switch, you can easily switch the water flow from the filter to a regular tap and vice versa.

Such a filter is designed to clean one type of impurities, therefore, with prolonged use, the filtering quality decreases. If a person wants to constantly drink well-purified water, the cartridge will have to be replaced much ahead of schedule, which will affect finances. Filter replacement is not required if the device is used infrequently, for example, to meet the needs of one person.

Tabletop types of water filters include a filter jug. This is the easiest way to purify water at home. It consists of a filter cartridge and a storage tank and a smaller tank for still untreated water. This is the least practical option. Liquid filtration takes place almost in manual mode. 3. Water cleans faster due to high pressure.
