The owners of the Galaxy line of devices from Samsung had a reason for joy: the Korean IT giant plans to launch a gaming service for these devices. Previously, the company has already released applications that were available only to owners of Galaxy gadgets. Judging by the reports of network sources, now Samsung is going to cover the niche of mobile applications.

The company filed a patent registration request with the US Patent Office (USPTO). The description of the document refers to the PlayGalaxyLink service. He will be able to work with downloadable programs, and with his help it will be possible to conduct gaming tournaments. The game features are also provided in both augmented reality and online mode. Based on this, it becomes clear that we are talking about a powerful gaming platform for mobile devices.

A little earlier, Samsung signed a contract with Rovio Corporation, which sponsored the startup Hatch, which later developed into a full-fledged gaming service. Therefore, IT journalists believe that the presentation of the new gaming platform is just around the corner.
