VA-matrices are installed on almost all new Sony TVs. They are characterized by high contrast and image depth, especially black, but there is a drawback - weak viewing angles. Such models are suitable for people who are located opposite the television screen and watch movies by turning off the light.
And there are also new Sonya 2019 products with IPS matrices, thanks to which TVs have extended viewing angles. It is convenient to watch on such a transmission device both in the dark and in the light. But with too bright lighting, the picture loses contrast.

ZD9 series (KD-65ZD9, KD-75ZD9, KD-100ZD9)
A bright representative of new products, which is ahead of everyone in terms of peak brightness and the number of dimming zones. A lot of controversy is associated with the flagship. Sony demonstrated earlier, at CES 2019, a prototype of this model, whose peak brightness reached 4000 cd / m2. In addition, it had thousands of LEDs. This model is not far from its predecessor. Processing of dark scenes, of course, is not at the same level as the ZD9, but the price tag is slightly lower - from 450 to 600 thousand rubles, the cost varies in different regions.
Of the negative features can be noted dimming in the corners.
XD93 - KD-55XD9305, KD-65XD9305 (XBR-55X930D, 65X930D)
Another interesting series. The design, in fact, has not changed. The new Slim Backlight Drive is located in no way promised manufacturers, from below, but in two directions. There was speculation that this was "lapped" in the older models of the Korean company.
Despite this, the lineup is quite successful, and prices ranged from 100 to 300 thousand rubles. But with such a backlight in complete darkness, you can not wait for a good quality picture.

This TV has a 120 Hz matrix and Motion Flow technology, which perfectly copes with smooth and dynamic scenes as well as obtaining a more voluminous image. Image parameters, as before, can be changed at your own discretion and taste. The price ranges from 100,000 to 180,000 rubles.
Sony TVs 4k with 60 Hz panels 2019
Such TV in the past year were presented in three series:
