The Chinese company Huawei plans to win the television segment in the electronics market, and become its leader over the next three years. The IT giant plans to achieve this ambitious goal by introducing the most advanced technical solutions into its televisions. These include modules for working with 5G communications and support for high-resolution 8K.
And company representatives said that their future televisions will be the most productive and fastest on the market. Their interfaces will be very responsive, and the processors will be powerful. The diagonal of the screens of the first TVs will be 65 and 55 inches. Display matrices for them are produced by VOE. The supported resolution is 8K, since, according to Huawei engineers, 4K is already history. And in order to get a high-quality signal to a matrix with a resolution of 8K, a 5G module is required, the support of which only top-end smartphones have today.
It is assumed that if the company manages to launch production of devices devoid of typical “childhood diseases”, then it will quickly capture the almost unoccupied segment of 8K TVs.
