Miniature monitors used to be considered exotic, but now their popularity is growing rapidly, as people are increasingly switching to mobile gadgets. ASUS took all these points into account and presented at the Computex 2019 exhibition the latest USB monitor whose matrix operates at a frequency of 240 Hz. The model is called the ROG Strix XG17. The manufacturer positions it as a gaming one.
The diagonal of the monitor is 17.3 inches, the resolution is 1920 by 1080 pixels. The response frequency is 3 ms. The same matrix is used on Hero III laptops, but the portable monitor has a higher operating frequency. The device is equipped with built-in stereo speakers and a battery. For convenience, there is also a cover-stand with a magnet. The battery can work for 3 hours. And you can charge it both via the USB port, and using the Quick Charge 3 wireless technology.
