Visitors to the anonymous Dvach forum noticed that some voice messages from Vkontakte can now be found in the public domain. To get to them, the user of the social network just needs to open the “Documents” tab, and in the search, type the phrase “audiocomment.3g”. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the anonymous forum.
The press service of the social network said that there were no vulnerabilities in the resource. According to them, all user messages are well protected, and only direct participants can get access to correspondence. In addition, files of the form audiocomment.3g are not used at all by the social network for sending messages. Everything that is now in the “Documents” category was uploaded by users themselves using third-party applications that have no relation to the social network.
At the same time, the press service promised that the search for “Documents” would be disabled so that this controversial situation would not be repeated.
