Earlier, network media reported that the only supplier of “iron” under the sensational law is the domestic company Norsi-Trans. In any case, the operator MTS in the next 5 years is going to purchase equipment from this organization for a total amount of 50 billion rubles. About half of these funds will be spent on the acquisition of information storage systems and servers. And all this equipment is likely to be supplied by a Chinese manufacturer.
According to the CEO of Norcy-Trans, the company was really engaged in testing equipment from Huawei, but the company has not yet decided on the choice of supplier. And Huawei officials simply did not comment on this situation.
