Such an innovation is planned to be introduced only for humanitarian subjects. Tasks for the exam and exam are developed by the Federal Institute of Pedagogical Measurements (FIPI). According to the head of the Institute, Oksana Reshetnikova, the established practice of memorizing humanitarian discipline does not give the student a full understanding of the essence of the subject.
Why do students need the Internet for exams?
Searching for information on the Internet will allow students to learn how to quickly find the sources of the information they need. By reading and comprehending reference data from various multimedia resources, the graduate better develops mental and analytical processes. Memorization did not at all develop the students' ability to analyze.
It is known that graduate students were trained to solve test tasks, which had a detrimental effect on the ability to critically interpret information. The translation of exams in the natural sciences into electronic form opens in the near future the opportunity to use reference books or geo-informational data in geography.
Putting things into practice
For a more complete examination of students, an experimental part of the tasks can be introduced. It is supposed to demonstrate video clips and conduct experiments using various devices connected to a computer:
- dynamometers
- ammeters;
- voltmeters etc.
But technical re-equipment is not all changes. According to experts, completely transferring students to the electronic form of passing exams is not the best solution. No less important is the skill of live communication with examiners, when a graduate tries to express his thoughts as competently as possible.
The question of technical re-equipment of schools in the regions remains open. For testing new technology in practice, at least 2 years are necessary, Oksana Reshetnikova believes. When the organizational issues are settled, the experts will need to create a bank of tasks that will be offered at the exams.
Regarding the control of inappropriate Internet content, there is still no complete information on how exactly the prohibited sites will be blocked. Whether it will be black and white lists or access will be prohibited only to 18+ resources, to all sorts of healers and social networks, is unknown. To date, educational institutions at the time of passing exams use special “jammers”.
The exam in 2019 ends on July 1. Reserve days start on July 17th.
