This week, sales of reborn cameras of the legendary Soviet brand Zenit started on the Russian market. The model presented to customers is called Zenit-M. The classic Zeniths were single-lens SLRs. Their release was launched in 1949. In 2005, the devices were discontinued after several unsuccessful attempts at modernization.

The modern Zenit-M is a digital camera that is produced at the Zverev factory in conjunction with the Leica Camera AG. The camera is based on the German Leica M system, but its lens and all other components are made in Russia. By design, the camera resembles its Soviet predecessor. The cost of the device is 460000 rubles. Despite the high price, the manufacturer claims that the first batch of cameras has already been sold out. It is also emphasized that the novelty will be interesting not only to domestic professional photographers, but also will find its buyer abroad.
