Because of the most popular application SHAREit the users Androidgadgets are at risk. Attackers can use the vulnerability of a free program to steal other people's files.
Company employees Redforce found that using a hacked network Wi—Fi shared they scanned ports that were related to SHAREit. After that, uploading user files to them was not difficult. It is noteworthy that the vulnerability was discovered a year ago, but the developers of the program did not disclose this. A little later it turned out that the security holes had been fixed. Only the corrected version for some reason did not get to Android-users.
